Where did you end up on this. I also temporarily fixed the exact same rust hole on my white 2003 AWD in November. Since winter was coming I just sprayed some matching white over my repair. But, I eventually want to do the same bedliner fenders but haven't quite figured out how to do the lines.

I think I'd just paint the "intrusions" circle above, even though there aren't any obvious body lines in the cladding there.

I do like how you just did the lower part of the cladding black. I think doing all the cladding is a bit much.

I've also given some thought to permanently removing the cladding all together.

Anyway, just curious where you ended up on this.
