Little gas turning left and a pop

I think I have to take some responsibility why my spiders failed. When I got this rid a couple years ago it's always has some very slight rear end sound. I looked it up and a lot of folks described what I was hearing as normal....ok? .....
I changed the oil and it looked well over due. I've only put 5k miles on the van since, the oil looked pretty nasty again the other day. I would have really enjoyed just swapping out the spider gears but i think the bearings have some slop to them needed a full rebuild.

Had some luck today, friend of a friend had his parents wrecked astro sitting on his property for a few years and guess what gt4 rpo! Just what I needed! Did some trading for help fixing his car and just had to take it out of the van.

Replaced the fluid, new gasket, a new lug stud and the brake line was smashed. Other than that the rear end looks pretty good.
So......I'm already thinking about building the original rear end, what locker should do you guys recommend? Isnt the ox locker cable actuated? I kinda like the sound of that.

I'm starting to see my locker options are limited, all I've found are auto lunchbox lockers or lsd. Dang

I was cut out of these modes after about 120,000. There was no damage, but it was ground, as if badly hardened. I bought used dyes, replaced the bearings with new ones and already over 200,000 and it's ok.http://www.vanklub.pl/index.php?action= ... 2400;image
