Rear Dutch Door Rain Gutter

Rear Dutch Door Rain Gutter

Postby Allergictostabwounds [OP] » February 16th 2021, 10:12pm

Felt good to finally get this off my list. The old seal was beyond flattened and would actually allow water to drip on our feet while we're sleeping! Not ideal for a camper project.

Ripped the new seal off a junkyard van and cut and sealed it to fit. Hopefully this Dutch Door will finally stop crying on me. Even managed not to get Tremco 795 on my clothes for once too. A Win win all around

Great repair. I have removed and now store a lot of weather striping. Hard to find after market.

Very hard to find indeed. It took quite a bit of digging and money to replace the rear stripping. That cut out about 90% of the leaks but there's no way to find a rain gutter. Had to do a lot of digging in pick n pull yards before I found one good enough.

Nice fix!

Steele Rubber Products has those available new in both notched(for dutch doors) and un-notched: https://www.astrosafari.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=141474
