Radiator support straightening

So I'm guessing the radiator support must have been bent slightly in my run in the other day

But not much, only a .25" or so but enough to eff up the hood latch operation.
I installed a "new" hood and now have issues unlatching, after knocking the latch forward a bit to even get to latch.
Can someone give me a measurement from some point under hood to the back of the rad support?
Looking at the rad support nothing looks to be bent except for a little ding above the passenger side light in the link above, but maybe just a 1/4" wouldn't really be noticeable.
Aside from wanting the hood to open smoothly, I'd also like to address this while swapping grilles.

Have you tried adjusting the hood at the hinges?

No, other than aligning it when I put the replacement hood on, but the the front and back edges are lined up about perfectly with the fenders.
I'll give this a try though, properly opening hood is more important than a body lines not meeting perfectly lol.

Have you tried adjusting the hood stops mounted on the radiator support?

Sorry guys, I'm a tard! Initially before pounding the latch forward I saw there wasn't much front to back adjustment, looking at the hood today I see it has side to side adjustment! I moved it passenger side about .25 and now releases just fine.

Minor update, after installing the SB headlights I was going in to add relays to switch between low beam & halo DRL and found the passenger side of the support is bent in a tad. And literally a tad.
I found this out when I tried to remove the washer fluid and coolant bottles, they don't come out now.
I'll look for someone I know with a come along and pull it back out, or buy a cheap one from HF. I don't know a lot of people these days...

Not that i recomend this at all but ....., a big tree a big chain and gentle yanking goig in revers , just saying . a come alomg will work better i guess tho.

I've done this many times.
I actually yanked a Rabbit straight after it got rear ended. It had ruffles in the quarter panel and it even pulled them straight! You could'nt tell!!
Telephone poles work well.

Yeah, I'd be afraid of using engine power. I'd probably over straighten it lol
