This is how the van will appear when the support is completely collapsed. Driver side is crushing, passenger side gone. Passenger front is crushed down approximately 3 inches.


Parts van I picked up is drooping like that, bumper was pushing upwards, the body is riding on the subframe, cracked the grille because of it. Wish I would have removed the grille before it cracked.

I decided to stop wondering and exposed the problem on that red van after my earlier post

Better than i thought, it rotted to a point where it fractured and crushed, but more metal there than i feared. Driver side dropped 1 inch, passenger side just over 2 inches, i was able to save the grill by ripping the bumper skin off.

Thankfully totally fixable ala method shown by the drummer
