what steal leafsprings will fit?

Working on the Van i discovered very good used fiberglass spring on both sides



Question : What steel springs can I use for `92 Rwd astro? (i use a flipkit)

There plenty of JY in the Netherlands but NO Astro.
I want go to steal because I drop a V-8 in the Car later this year.
We have here a lot GM pick-up`s / full size cars at the JY to choose from.
I have no problem to slightly modified the leafsprings.
will use a flipkit

From every thing I have heard there are no other springs that will work with out some modification, but if modification isnt a prob for you I would say take some measurements and hit the junkyard.. Good luck to you

modification won`t be a problem Tony.
with what type of leafspring can i start?
I take some measurements , a friend has some surburban parts.
I look if they could be modified to work with.

But If anyone know where to start, Let me know..

I would look at vehichles like s10 or sonomas I think a suburban would be to big but maybe not if its a 1500 series

So according to that site the s10/s15 up to 95 have the same dimensions as the 95+ astro van springs and from what I know the springs from a 1995+ astro will bolt onto a 1995and older as long as you have access to the mounting brackets I only bring this up because the purchase price of the brackets and s10 springs are cheaper then the conversion kit for the fiberglass springs right?

Yeb. the Astro steel-leafsprings will fit on early models if you use the also front mounting.
But you can`t find 97+ astro`s over here at the JY. some early types if your lucky.
Pick-up parts enough at the USA Cars JY in the Netherlands.
