This will be an ongoing topic until I get all the information together. I will add new company and part numbers when I have the time to find them.

Xscorpion

For 1985-1990 vans
  1. Headunit installation kit: GM-K8204-1E[/*]
  2. Wire Harness (Plugs aftermarket unit to factory harness): GM-1342[/*]
  3. Wire Harness (plugs into factory unit, in case the plug is missing from the wiring harness): GM-1341M[/*]
  4. Antenna adapter (aftermarket antenna to factory antenna): GM-A16[/*]
  5. Antenna Adapter ((aftermarket antenna to factory radio): GM-A17[/*]

For 1991-1995 vans
  1. Headunit installation kit: GM-K8204-1E[/*]

I should have Metra up before the weekend. I will try to get Scosche and American International as soon as I can. With those 4 companies, you can't go wrong on doing an install on these vans. Hope this helps

Most kits that I have seen stick out a little bit. You can make a little bit more room by cutting the back out of the area the radio goes, but that also takes away some support.

I've always used Metra. After seeing the Xscorpion stuff, I may use them on the next build.

Went to the Metra website to get information. WOW! They have changed a lot over the years. I have to get the information from somewhere else as they have aprox. 10 install kits listed.
