Xscorpion

For 1985-1990 vans

Headunit installation kit: GM-K8204-1E[/*]
Wire Harness (Plugs aftermarket unit to factory harness): GM-1342[/*]

I should have Metra up before the weekend. I will try to get Scosche and American International as soon as I can. With those 4 companies, you can't go wrong on doing an install on these vans. Hope this helps

This is some great info! Do you have a personal preference? I have thought about replacing the one in my 94, it seems to stick outta the dash to far. This also could be because theres no room in the dash.

Most kits that I have seen stick out a little bit. You can make a little bit more room by cutting the back out of the area the radio goes, but that also takes away some support.

I've always used Metra. After seeing the Xscorpion stuff, I may use them on the next build.

Went to the Metra website to get information. WOW! They have changed a lot over the years. I have to get the information from somewhere else as they have aprox. 10 install kits listed.
