One screw in the front. Take the light cover off. 2 under there it falls off. Just unplug it. Same console I just put in.

 

It's pretty easy, there is one screw at the front and two under the main light cover and then one or maybe two connectors. Best to disconnect battery first so don't have to worry about touching bulb leads with screwdriver.

Thank you all for the help so far and so promptly. I have to apologize in advance for asking more questions. (Ironically, I've repaired just about every other engine and maintenance part on the various Astros I've owned, yet this is puzzling me.)

I don't want to break anything. So,

Is there anything that snaps off before said screws are exposed?

 

Take the light cover off.
